And here, Smart Tapes, a range of electronic components, including a computer processor and speakers, printed on adhesive tape. The tape allows us to use technology where and when we like, giving us the opportunity to enhance existing products or create new ones.

Wim Crouwel: From Groningen to Gridnik
“If I don’t know what to do, I use blue.” Just one of several nuggets delivered deadpan by the charming Wim Crouwel at last night’s D&AD President’s Lecture.
In an entertaining hour, Crouwel took a sell-out audience of 1100 through a 50-year career rooted in his love of architecture. In fact, Crouwel said, he has always been influenced far more by architecture than by the work of his peers in graphic design. Read the whole piece at the Creative Review Blog

A very nice webpage for photographer Peter Funch. Some really nice pictures in there as well. I like the way the format of each photograph make a black button. This reminds me of a poster for a publisher I picked up in Amsterdam. I think the name of the publisher is Artimo. The poster had tumbnails of the book covers on one side and on the backside/posterside it had black fields the sice of the tumbnail on the other side.
Edit: Found the poster. It is Experimental Jetset thats behind it.
The bookstore changed its name from Artimo to Artimo A-Z after Experimetal made this poster and then they asked them to do the whole profile.
Here is the poster:
